Tehran to host regional security meeting

TEHRAN – The first meeting among regional countries’ national security officials and consultants is scheduled to be held in Tehran on Wednesday, ISNA reported.

According to the Supreme National Security Council, Russia, China, India and Afghanistan are expected to attend the meeting. The meeting will focus on dialogue for regional security.

Ways to fight terrorism and extremism as well as new threats of terrorism in West Asia will be discussed at the conference.

Security officials attending the meeting will also hold bilateral talks with one another.
